Gtechniq Auto C4 Permanent Trim Restorer is a long-term trim restoration and protection coating designed to permanently restore and preserve exterior black plastic trim exposed to harsh environmental conditions.

Unlike painted surfaces, exterior plastic trim has no protective clear coat, leaving it vulnerable to UV radiation, oxidation, and environmental fallout. Over time, the natural oils within plastic degrade, causing trim to become grey, chalky, brittle, and faded.

C4 addresses this at a molecular level. Using a true chemical bonding process, the coating becomes an extension of the plastic itself by exchanging part of its molecular structure with the trim surface molecules. This creates a permanent, ultra-durable protective layer rather than a temporary cosmetic dressing.

The coating forms an exceptionally thin (~30 nanometer), optically clear film that does not add unwanted gloss. Instead, it restores most faded trim to an ‘as-new’ appearance while maintaining a natural OEM finish. On new trim, C4 acts as a preventative coating, significantly slowing future fading and degradation.
